yesterday was physically exhausting.
went for a briefing for drama competition at tanjong pagar. it was in this old old theatre and the place totally looked liked our campus at thomson. there were alot of small 'theatres' which actually were just small rooms for different societies like for the deaf the blind blah blah. cao laoshi, jieying and me reached late cos both JY and i reached late. but she was 6 min earlier than me cos i missed the train we were supposed to board just by 3 seconds.
then the actors there demo-ed for us how we are supposed to do this newly introduced judging criteria. the judges will pick one the few topics and then we are supposed to start acting in 20 seconds without a script. either we have to use only 3 words everytime we speak, start acting a paticular character with something- anything that will be thrown onstage as our prop, act in a rewinding motion, means "ni hao ma?" will become "ma hao ni?",or let one person narrate and create stories and the actors act according to what she says. there's also one that we've to send 3 people to do the thing. only 1 person has to be doing either one and they've to act a paticular scene that the judges will make up, and keep changing their positions.
the demo was totally hilarious! it was crazy cos the actors couldnt coordinate and all of them just started sitting and standing together.
then lunch-ed with jieying when i was supposed to have history lesson cos i was too hungry. and i decided to go for her class's history lesson instead. after history was banner. just looking at it makes me wanna go and die. i think the flowers are quite horrendous, totally ruin the whole banner. sigh. its our weird painting la.
while sam, lynette and i painted, JY, pat and tricia practiced MING TIAN for superstar. i think the range is wrong for JY thats why she cant showcast the song to the best. she cant use her normal voice either thats why the whole thing beomes airy and not as high as its supposed to be at the climax. but i still think the melody will make up for everything.
JY was totally joker-fied too. she was trying to seduce all of us and doing really weird funny stuff. then she, pat and went to watch superband live. that was the worst part of yesterday.
caolaoshi said penglashi will start performing at 6, so we rushed and reached at 6.20. there were alot of people lining the first row of the fountain place already,so we stood behind caolaoshi and frens but they were so tall la we couldnt see a single thing. almost everyone in the first row surrounding the fountain had enough "compassion" and common-sense to sit down so the people behind could see. but apparently they dint want to when we asked laoshi to ask his frens to sit down. so me and pat resorted to sitting down behind them and looking through their legs. but in the end we still stood up and forced our way in when the 2 tallest guys left for a while. oh man felt so bad but we were just too short, when we stood behind the guys we could only see their waists? then we waited and waited until 7.45. all so pek cek already cos everyone was jostling furiously just to get a glimpse of the stage downtairs. then the stupid emcee had to start making weird and totally not funny jokes and expexct us to cheer. and wth. he repeated the same lines over and over again. (in chinese) "raise up your banners and boards and start screaming then they will come out" oh man he kept saying that over and over again and the stupid superband theme song kept repeating and repeating. it was really cliche and too local especially the lycics, wad "superband jiu bu hui super sian".oh my. we wanted to die whenever we heard the song repeating again. finally the competition started at 8. my gosh we were already dying by then. and this smart idiotic guy sat on the floor behind caolaohshi's fren who was wearing a miniskirt. we all thought he was trying to peep but then it turned out he copied our idea and just wanted to see through legs. finally laoshi performed and honestly it was quite bad. we left at 10.30 and went to pats house for dinner or supper in this case. JY started doing some tortoise thing. looked like her head fell off and pat actually told her to put in bac on he neck. hahaha. then luckily dad came to pick me up cos it was 12 and i was really too tired to move.
cant imagine i actually stood for almost 5 hours when my ankle still hurts. so now it has started swelling again. and guess wad, i fell asleep in the toilet. thats why i dint pick up JY's calls.haha.
GREAT NEWS : TCS will be filming our IJ Superstar on tuesday as news, and the entry ticket for superstar will be used as ticket to enter AVA on thursday. cause for our interview on thursday, its gonna become a half hour thing as "Zao An Ni Hao" is gonna invite the 4 campus supestar finalists to speak with us!! 3 of them are gonna be appearing live with us and 1 will be in the AVA as VIP. so excited! i get to go on television with Geraldine!!!!!! ahhhhhhhhhhhhh. okay the three of us better not say wrong things in front of the superstars. the topic is "is chasing idols a good thing?" all right we'll all say its good. haha. cos geraldine is there!

i guess everything just feels better when i follow wad Jesus would have done. at least i know im doing the right thing. but there are just things that i still cant bring myself to do. example being nice to my parents. it supposed to be the easiest out of everything that i have to do but its just hardest for me. they tried to talk to me yesterday but i dint answer cos i just dint feel like especially when i was feeling so down already. maybe i just take them for granted and vent my emotions on them. i can put on a mask and laugh in front of friends but i never bother to make my family feel better and comfortable around me.
sigh.
