rejoice you nations!
celebrate his birth!
once i was blind but now i see
the Almighty!
Heavenly King!
rejoice for the world will see
the splendour of our newborn king!
with righteousness he walked in faith
as a man who healed and saved
on the cross he was pierced and hung to die
blood pouring to drown our sins
in him darkness vanished
light has come our way
all our guilt and all our shame
his blood has cleaned and saved.
so come now all you nations
and celebrate salvation!
our risen king in the Father's name
created and shall redeem.
seek and u shall find
believe and you will receive
the one and only Prince of Peace,
Jesus Christ
our lord and king!
