started researching on the soulmate theory again. so basically, its a greek theory based on reincarnation belief. the original meaning of soulmates, are souls that have made a pact in their past lives or on the way to their next lives to be joined together , and whether or not one can find his/her soulmate depends on fate/destiny which is decided by karma. therefore in conclusion, its a theory that belongs to the 3rd dimension of souls originated from a greek mythology with buddhist beliefs. in other words, its not christian.
according to the original context, there are different types of soulmates. theres karmic soulmates, companion soulmates, twin souls, twin fire souls blah blah. basically it just means that because finding your true soulmate is one in a million, soulmates can be made/synthesized. on the other hand anything that can be synthesized is not special nor unique and therefore shouldnt be called soulmate, but hmm maybe passionmate or lifemate.
in a christian context, our holy spirit is our soulmate. maybe its because we all share the same soulmate and thats why sometimes we mistake one another as soulmates cos we connect thru the same person thru praying. but then i do believe god has prepared someone for everyone, i guess that doesnt co-incide with my definition of soulmate but thats very alright cos i'd still rather have god's. and so anyway if god has prepared for us, it'll be the right one. since no one is perfect, theres no perfect soulmate and that just means it still has to go through the synthesizing period. which means there is no soulmate in the world. and in any case, if soulmates can be synthesized then anyone can be your soulmate as long as you know the person long enough and u bother to analyze his/her needs. which brings me to the point that since we all yearn to have our own soulmates, why dont we all strive to be at least one other person's soulmate rather than wasting time looking for one cos even if we find it, he/she's not gonna be perfect. and this basically already proved my whole post pointless and waste of time cos we are back to square one when we should just love people the best we can and let God do the rest.
